● Chief Woydziak was hired in 2009 as the Fire District's 2nd full time Fire Chief.
Chief Woydziak started his career as a dispatcher for
the city of El Dorado, KS, and then as an ambulance
technician for the Wellington, KS Fire Department. After
serving in the United States Air Force, assigned to the
Fire Department Unit, he joined the Lawrence, KS Fire
Department, rising to the rank of Captain. He then
served as Fire Chief for the Moline, IL Fire Department,
the Emporia, KS Fire Department, the Manhattan, KS Fire
Department and the Nampa, ID Fire Department before
returning to his hometown of Rose Hill. Chief Woydziak's
residence is located in the city of Rose Hill. |
