Butler County Fire District #3 is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees, who are appointed by the Butler County Board of Commissioners. The District Fire Chief reports to the Fire Board of Trustees, who in turn submit monthly meeting minutes to the Butler County Commissioners for approval.
The Butler County Fire District #3 Board of Trustees meet at 6:00 pm on the second Tuesday of each month at Butler County Fire District #3 Station #1, 911 N. Rose Hill Rd., Rose Hill, KS. The meetings are open to the public.
